I can function on a low dose I just stay at a medium dose because I don’t want to have to be so anxious about stress getting to me.

I chose low dose. I’m on 200 mg of clozapine a day and thought that seemed okay. Not sure though.

I will soon be on 4mg of risperidone.
This is considered to be a medium dose.
But on the lower end of medium, if this makes sense.

Like, high dose would exactly or close to the maximum recommended dose for a specific med. Medium would be halfway between maximum recommended dose and minimum therapeutic dose.
So let’s say for example you’re taking zyprexa. You’d select high dose if you’re taking 20mg, medium if 15mg and low 10 mg.

I’m on a high dose for abilify for a teen at 22.5 mg

I just checked. The max dose is 900mg I believe, so 500 is medium dose, I would say

I’m on 120mg of Latuda. The max is 160 i think. I was on 140 for a while but we dropped it down due to akathisia. So i chose medium.

I take a total of 12mg of risperidone, above high recommended dose
I can take up to 10mg of haldol, average

I take the highest dose of Geodon with a low dose of Latuda. The Latuda helps with negative symptoms. It’s a good combo. I wouldn’t have been able to go back to school or work again without that combo. I am afraid to try anything different although I know there might be something better.
