No dose? Fifteen character

Very low dose now, but it took years to get there. CBT and similar therapies were really helpful, especially mindfulness training.

I’m not sure. I’m on 20mg of abilify…hoping to be reduced to 15mg over the next few months.

Is this a high dose? Or low, or somewhere in between?

I’m resigned to the fact that I’ll be on in for many years to come.

Approved arapiprasole dose range is 5 to 30, so moderate to high heading for moderate to low.

Are you able to focus well enough to do CBT in a workbook? Or, better yet, MBSR or some other version of MBCT? If so, you may see a future at 5 mgs or even less. I started at 150 mgs of Seroquel quetiapine; I’m on 12.5 now.

I got into trouble at 10 mg or less. I’m pretty sure 15mg is the lowest my Pdoc will go with me…at least for the next number of months.

I’m okay with that. I feel 100% normal right now. I’m even wondering if I should be posting on this site because I feel so balanced mentally and physically.

Hell, no. People need to hear that others get better from doing the do.

Fair enough. Good point. I’m just in such a good zone and reading all of these posts from people who aren’t, I was starting to question whether or not I truly belong here.

But who knows? Perhaps my future insights into this disorder may be helpful to some of you down the road on later thread discussions.

Thanks for the reply, notmoses!

Lowest therapeutic dose of Consta. Talk of upping it a couple of times but it never happened.

I take 400 mg Seroquel twice a day. 80 mg Geodon twice a day. Wellbutrin I don’t know twice a day. I think that is a high dose.

20 mg abilify

that’s a medium/high dose for abilify

but some people are on multiple AP’s so i suppose it could be more.

I’m on a sub therapeutic dose, so put low as my answer. I still am having issues tolerating it, but it’s working at least. Abilify.

Reviving this old thread. I’ve been on the highest dose of every anti-psychotic I’ve been prescribed. So it always makes me wonder if I’m fried from the meds more than the positive/negative symptoms? I don’t know. Not here to be negative though. Just curious of others and their experiences.
