10mg risperidone so high dose recommended target dose is 4-8mg but it is usable up to 16mg… (no one prescribes it that high tho) my dr did not even want me to do 10mg she almost had me switch meds.

MP, I’m on 12mg of risperidone a day. No other APS worked. I had a reaction to clozaril , allergic.

10 mgs of zyprexa is as Low as I go. Probably could do 7.5mgs but 10 just seems a better fit.

I guess it’s low. I know others take way more…not sure how to classify it!

I’ve been on 15 mg of Invega before, so 12 mg isn’t the highest

but not sure how high they go

currently on 6 mg. I voted in as Medium dose.

Well i took Ziprasidone 80 mg twice daily, which was the highest amount you could take, in conjunction with 200 mg of Clozapine. I’m now on a lowering titration of the Ziprasidone and take 60 mg twice daily. So far so good but i do predict the Clozapine will have to go up.

50 mgs Paliperidone depot,which I think is the lowest therapeutic dose for it.

225mg clozapine per day but will increase it to 250mg soon

I’m on the miminum therapeutic dose of rexulti which is 2 mg. It works excellently.

I had an issue with my first prescriber where she’d give me super high doses of things, she’d keep increasing my dose even after I started experiencing positive effects, and due to that I’d end up with terrible side effects and would drop meds cold turkey. It was a bad situation. Always find a prescriber who looks for a dose that works for you and not necessarily the standard prescribed dose for the condition.

I lowered my Zyprexa dose from 20 to 10mg months ago so I would stop gaining weight. I’m steadily below 190lb which isn’t ideal but at least I’m not gaining more.

10mg is actually low. While they sell 2.5mg, 5mg and 7.5mg tablets, the minimum recommended effective dose is 10mg (aka therapeutic dose or maintenance dose)

I take 2mg of Risperidone, so it’s a low dose.

I’m on 120 mg of latuda, the highest dosage. It works well for me, with little to no side effects
