Poll: What is Your X-Mas Budget?

I come from a big family so we all pick names from a hat for those we are to buy presents for. But I’ve still got my kids, nieces and nephews and in-laws to buy for.

So how much do you plan on spending this year on gifts?

  • $25.00

  • $50.00

  • $100.00+

  • Over $200.00

  • I’m giving everyone in my family a 20% off of Shake n’ Bake coupon this year.

I’m only going to buy presents for my mom, dad and three of my grandparents (have 5 living ones). Going to spend the equivalent of 100-150 USD.

My older brother bought me a deodorant stick one year from the Dollar Store…

It was called “Three Pines Deodorant”. I broke out in a rash and had to go to the doctor.

“3 Pines” has now become a catchphrase in my family for a lousy gift! lol!

My grandfather used to be the king of lousy gifts, one christmas he bought me a comb and the cheapest deodorant in the market. Didn’t use it though, I’m picky about deodorants.

Seriously…

Q: So what did you get for Christmas?

A: Don’t even ask, man. Brutal. It was like ‘3 Pines’.

its not about the presents price its about the thought that counts :innocent:

I’m giving a $100 to my girlfriend and a $100 to me for gifts. that’s all my extra cash for Christmas I can muster.

My sis also makes a lot of presents… she has a pretty good talent for baking… so it’s bread… cookies… muffins… stuff like that…

I also come from a large family… The niece and nephew get the store bought toys…

The rest of the family gets homemade… or we pick up the price on some classes…

My sister-in-law really wants to learn how to paint… so my sis and I chipped in and got her a spot in the art class at the community center… complete with us offering some kid sitting times so she can go.

100 bucks as im spending Christmas in the USA this year a 100 bucks is a LOT to me is about 6800 Rubles so yea
I did really well, got everyone a gift and good ones i did hand craft a lot of little gifts as well paper and wood crafts, like hand made paper chrsitmas decos for the tree and place mats for the meal, so some of the 100 when on crafting stuff

-$40.00

Currently, my life savings is about minus $40.00, in other words I am in debt at this time.
Therefore I need to hand out Anti-Presents, meaning presents that work in reverse.

I will not like your post because debt sucks, but funny way to put it. You can always make drawings or poems. I did that when I was in debt and didn’t have any money

I am in debt because over this year I gave money to others in need.
I’m not one of those “give just once a year” kind of guys.
But I think that X-Mas is a blast for the kids though.

That’s really noble of you.

I’ve given my neighbor a lot of random ■■■■

He returns the favor …usually by giving me wine :strawberry: probably bad but it feels good to give

I also buy my family food often. Not as much as they do for me but feels good regardless

My budget is about 100$ only friends’ kids.

How Dursleyish!

My old coworker Kevin got a partially used bottle of ketchup from his mom one year. Why bother?
