I’m really proud of myself. It’s so hard to resist the temptation to spend money at Christmas time. I went a little over my goal but much, much better than I normally do. Last year I think I spent five times that. I’ve actually been on a budget in general and have been doing better than expected. Come payday I will be able to payoff my Amazon credit card in full. Feels great.

Usually I spend less, but this year I marginally upped the amount I spend on each person so I could get something a bit better
Makes a massive difference buying a gift for £15/£20 vs. just £10 where you just buy crap!
Hopefully people will like what I bought them
I nearly spent £399 on a tv for my parents, but I decided maybe when things settle down with work I can afford to treat them - they do a lot for me, and I wanted to show them how much I appreciate them

i spend 400 euro that i’m giving away to my nieces and nephew. I do that every year, but i save up to it.
