For Christmas this year

All my family (my parents and siblings and all our kids etc) pull names and need to get that person a gift for around $20. This year the theme is small gift. It must fit inside a brown paper lunch bag. Then we can decorate the bag as well. Okay so I got my sis in law, my son got my friend/sis and my daughter got my brother.
I’d like to kind of do as much locally or organic fair trade as possible. Any ideas?

oh I’m always stumped when held to only $20 to spend…you could buy them a rung of coffee cups? that’s what I bought one year.

Tim hortons has cute mugs

Mrs. Squirrel and I are focused on buying some things for the kid this year, we have enough toys for ourselves.

I know a lady who makes homemade soap etc. Her soaps are $4 each. Maybe one for each person.

This is just a way of making spend less because we don’t buy for everyone then. And its really fun

I hear Christmas falls on the 23rd this year. Something about leap year or something or a full moon or something.

We have a lot of markets. Usually it’s a bit boutique if they are big enough but there’s plenty of ideas if your walking through. For $20 you can do those things like candles or other crafted things. If you have a local market I’d be checking that out weather permitting of course.

Sounds like a great idea. We usually just get everyone to buy a $5 scratchie then everyone picks one. I think we spent well over $100 and won like $25. Much rather your idea which sounds good and personal. Gambling is for fools!
