I’m already doing it. I wouldn’t have it any other way. As far as I’m concerned going to the supermarket is a bit last century
I get mine delivered too. I used to get a bit anxious on delivery day but the drivers are always really friendly. I leave glowing feedback about the good ones
I get my groceries online sometimes but I get a bit paranoid, thinking that the shopper could tamper with the food in a bad way.
I was forced to do this by not having a car for two years.
Now I think I will continue doing it. It takes 5 mins to do shopping online, and you don’t have to walk around a massive crowded store trying to find things.
If you order more than £40 worth of stuff, it only costs £2 to get it delivered. Well worth it.
I only do it in the wintertime when I’m depressed.
I’d rather pick out my own stuff, plus it gives me something to do.
I do it sometimes, it’s handy to have when I just can’t leave the house
Anyone paranoid getting their groceries from an online shopper?

When paranoia flairs it’s ugly head, I’m weary of all strangers. Normally those arnt shopping days
it’s kind of rural here so grocery delivery isn’t an option for me. but I can do click and collect, where they bring it out to my car in the parking lot. im hoping in the next 10 years I can have my groceries delivered as I don’t like to drive in the city. are online groceries more expensive? I would think so, somebody has to be paid to pick them up, and then deliver them. how much more expensive is it?
At my last place it was easier to get my grocery shopping online as I didn’t have to lug several bags home. A downside was stuff being sent with very short use by dates.
Apart from getting food etc in when I first came here I’ve not done an online grocery shop since being here.
My stepdaughter drives me to the supermarket, guides me round the aisles and packs stuff at the checkout . Occasionally I’ll walk to the smaller supermarket in town to get a few bits .
One of the things that holds me back from online grocery shopping is that I’m pretty picky about getting the freshest fruits and veggies and also checking the expiration dates on dairy products to make sure they’re out far enough.
I don’t like replacement products and not knowing if my product will or will not be available
I don’t order my groceries online, I go once a week to buy them. I like wandering around looking for new stuff and picking things out for myself. Today I went to Food Lion all by myself and did the weekly shopping. Normally my husband goes with me, but today I was brave and went before he got home from work. Thank you, Zyprexa.
My sister orders delivery and sometimes does it where you order online and then just pick up your order at the front of the store. She also periodically does the Hello Fresh thing too where they send you premade meal ingredients in one package to make a meal. I can’t afford that though.
Online groceries are more expensive especially when you add in the tip.
@Lifer
I can’t afford to online grocery shop currently as it is very expensive where I live. If I could afford it though I would definitely do it.
Online shopping is great and I prefer it over the standard way.
I can make better decisions this way and I get better groceries.
I’m not paranoid but when I go shopping I get all confused and it’s hard for me to make the best choice.
I’m used to going to the supermarket. Like others have said you can pick out new things you would not have thought to try. Also I can do my recycling and go to the ATM. Bit embarrassing though when I get the same cashier week after week and they can see how much beer I buy.
I can only handle going to this small supermarket that is situated very close to me where I live.
I cannot handle larger stores or markets because I’ll get easily overwhelmed and confused.
I pick everything out and put it in my online shopping cart. Then print it out on paper because it has all the aisles marked and prices. So i take that to the market and fly through as fast as possible. And i’ll know exactly how much i have to spend.
