I walk my dogs. I don’t think walking is exercise. At all.
Maybe taking a stroll with your dogs isn’t much of a workout,
But walking is exercise.
I mean I’m cleaner maybe that is enough exercise for now. But ideally I want to be walking too and pilates
I think walking is a mild form of exercise. If you walk fast enough it will get your heart rate up.
Is sex considered exercise? Is doing drugs?

I think it is. If you put enough effort into fu*king it will get your heart rate up.

I voted “twice a week”. Hubby and I always walk around at the park for a couple of hours or so, on Saturday and Sunday. We usually take Wesley (dog) with us. Sometimes, we also go for a bike ride.
We also, often, walk Wesley around the neighborhood, but that’s only like 30 minutes or less of walking, so I don’t really count that.
Walking is walking. It’s nothing strenuous. If it is, then you should probably exercise.
No but walking is exercise just as any other activities that raise your heart beat. It can help you loose weight and relieve stress and lift mood
I walk every day. I sometimes jog. I very rarely trek in the mountains. But walking doesn’t count as exercise to me, I should be doing more, especially muscle training. I used to do 40 pushups and 15 pullups in my early 20s, now I can barely do 10 pushups and 2 pullups ![]()

Yea walking doesn’t raise my heartbeat so perhaps strictly it is not exercise. But if done for an hour regularly I personally find it beneficial as it does put a little strain on leg muscles and burns calories if done 4 hour, and gets lymphatic system circulating better… Etc. So I like to see it as very mild exercise.

On Abilify I exercised everyday, either jogging or cycling outside or at the gym where I did 30-45min cardio and 30min weight lifting.
Before medication times I used to jog 5 times per week, 45 minutes each time. Sometimes I would go through phases where I was doing weight bearing exercises too in the gym.
