i don’t watch much tbh, i can only really get into it if there is people there like my mum or my sister and i can never watch it on my own.
i find it very boring and i remember all of the ■■■■ i got from it while unwell, probably another reason why i came on this site lol to get away from the tv (i think it was actually)
anyway, i was hoping to watch a bit more maybe comedy or something but i doubt i will unless i can meet someone who can help me with my ‘little problem’ lol
I’m terrible. I fall asleep with the television playing; although with no sound and I leave the television playing when I leave my apartment; also with the sound off. Before my sister died of cancer, she would leave her television on with the sound playing low to help her sleep. Those cancer chemotherapy drugs are terrible for getting a good night’s rest. I guess I get lonely. It is only my cat and me and we need some company; even, if it is technologically artificial.
I answered none, but we do watch DVDs…not hours on end but maybe a couple hours.
No commercials, no network nonsense, no trying to decide what is best to watch when 2 or more good programs are on at the same time.
I didn’t watchTV between 1997 and (?) 2012 due to lack of a TV or too complex to use.
Guess I make up for it now that husband #2 enjoys the TV on most of the time, and some of the new technology still makes me laugh.
The tv is on from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep, there are a lot of times in the day that I tune it out and forget that it is on. Like above its just me and the cat and it keeps us company.
TV is boring. It’s hard for me to get sucked in to a show or something. Maybe i’m just desensitized from all the amazing theories and stories I come up with inside my head.
I mainly watch from late afternoon onwards but sometimes have days when I don’t have the tv on at all. Even when I have it on I am often not fully focussed on it.
I basically tune my TV to CNN and listen and watch from time to time - I will watch TV at night with my Dad for a short period of time, and then nod off to sleep on the couch.
Lately I really dont watch a lot of television - Below Average.
I will sometimes turn the TV on in my room and use it as background noise, so I dont freak out by night noises in the house
I watch about maybe 2 hours of TV a night. I don’t watch it during the day…I am usually on the computer during the day. At night though, I have my Dad here and I watch some shows with him. Other then that I don’t watch much TV.
I watch sport…my brain is toast for watching movies! I used to read three books a week and watch movies but it’s all gone…
These days I watch sport which I can do and watch simple shows often reality tv. That or computer games…I spend a lot of time playing games cause I can concentrate on them for a lot longer…rarely do I finish games…It’s often just open ended things that achieve my poor attention!
I’ve got one local soapy that I watch and after that I watch the news. That is basically it. I go to the movies sometimes and would watch downloaded movies once in a while.
The only reason I said very little is because I counted Netflix as tv. I’ll usually watch Netflix shows for like an hour every night. As for the actual TV, rarely if ever. Anything I want to see is either on Netflix or on at a time I wouldn’t be able to see on TV anyways. Really the only time I watch it is when I go home and I’ll be visiting with people in the family room and it’ll be on.
It’s just kind of boring. Too many commercials. Too many awful shows.
I have never been a t.v. person. I enjoy the news, and criminal minds, but that is about it. I dont go out of my way to turn it on, if it is on it may catch my attention.
