I can watch about 20 minutes worth on a good day. So much garbage on TV. I watch movies though.
I watch sports and animal planet. I can watch a great deal of TV, but very limited in what I watch.
For me, the TV is on the entire time or just about the entire time that I am awake, I use it for noise companionship. But when I read I turn it off. The actual time I watch it is probably maybe an hour in the morning and and maybe an hour and a half at night. I usually get drowsy if I pay attention for too long.
Never watch TV. Can’t concentrate enough.
My TV is not set up for local coverage or cable as I prefer it that way. However, I watch films and programs that interest me and am very fond of documentaries. The award winning People Of A Feather from Journeyman Pictures for one.
I remember as a kid I loved Fat Albert, The Jeffersons, the wildlife series and Earth2.
I know I miss some good stuff now and then. SNL gets my attention sometimes.
I watch Sam Seder at majority report, democracy now and YouTube uploads now and then.
I turn it on first thing in the mornings as early as 2:00 am as that is when a couple major news stations are already reporting the new news of the day. I watch mainly the news programs for I get many from around the world and I only have a digital receiver. I am mostly sedentary in front of the TV or the computer screen. But I still get something done that needs doing.
I turn it on leave it on all day while im at work for my cat who spent a year and a half with my pop and she has adapted to it.
It really depends on how well my concentration is at the time. Usually I only watch about an hour, but sometimes if I’m doing particularly well and watching something I own on DVD I might watch the whole disk…like most of them only have four episodes a disk.
If I have a lot of noise or distraction in my head I can’t watch much because the extra noise bothers me too much…and the flashing lights tend to agitate my voices. I’m not epileptic or anything, but it tends to trigger my voices.
I usually switch the tv on sometime between 3 pm and 7 pm and switch it off in the early hours of the morning. During that time I’m flitting between the computer screen and the tv screen so I’m sometimes catching the sound but not the visuals.
I like watching films and tv programmes online where you can watch things gradually ie watch a bit pause then watch a bit more.
i can watch more with friends and i am a lot more tolerant about what i watch when i am with company
