It is a kid’s franchise if you ask me. Lucky I saw it back then.

I watched a couple of the newer versions and they didn’t enthrall me.

Yah. The dialogue is something else after your brain has grown in. I also tried watching Knight Rider as an adult. OMFG, the pain, the paaaaiiinnnnn…

Yeah, I’ve seen it several times. Mostly when I was growing up. Once when I was an adult. I was never really a fan. It’s so boring.

I haven’t seen Star Trek. I have seen a bit of the newer stuff. I wasn’t impressed.

I do love The Orville, though! Awesome show. It’s funny, it’s well written (for the most part), and the characters are very likable, in my opinion.

I’ve only seen bits and pieces of the original three. But I know basic plot points however I have no Sense of the order.

But this has a fun perk. One of my favorite things to do with star wars fans is to tell them my “chronologically correct*” rendition of the original trilogy. Where I try to put the plot points in the correct order but fail to do so

It gives every star wars fan within listening distance an aneurism and it’s fantastic :smiley:

I love eps 1,2,3 amd 4,5,6. But it is true its a lot harder to enjoy them as an adult for me. I loved them as a kid though. I can like basically quote the entire episode 3 movie.
I sometimes randomly start saying quotes from the fight scene between anakin and obi wan on that volcano planet. To my gf. She sometimes laughs. But usually she just shakes her head and sighs in annoyance haha
