Out of all the Star Wars cannon

What’s your favorite movie or show?

The original 1977 version of “a new hope”. Not the special edition.

My cannon starts and ends with the original 3 movies :movie_camera:.

I didn’t think much of the prequels, and only watched 2 of the sequels. I gave up at that point and never watched the final star wars movie.

Rogue One was actually the best film.

I was 8 when the phantom menace came out so I grew up with the prequels. I saw revenge of the sith alone in the theater when I was 13 and absolutely loved it. Revisiting them is a little rough but I can still enjoy them. Everything past revenge of the sith with the exception of rogue one, the force awakens and some of the cartoons is trash unfortunately.

I really didn’t see anything wrong with the force awakens either.

What didn’t you like about it?

Acting. Plot. Dialogue. Directing.

I feel The Mandalorian is much better.

My hubby likes Star Wars. He’s older than I, and he saw it when he was little. He asked me a question referencing it the other day, and I have no clue what he was talking about! I have seen the films as an adult, but I don’t remember much.

I thought a lot of that meshed well with how campy it was. idk, im not always so great at distinguishing movies I have fun with from objectively good films

I’m curious what the question was

Empire Strikes Back is my favorite. Second place is Revenge of the Sith, and then Rise of Skywalker. I’m ready for all the hate for Rise being my number 3 favorite, I can take it.

Least favorite is the Force Awakens. It was just a New Hope rehashed, and after waiting years for the new trilogy I was a bit let down they didn’t go for more originality.

I’m a bit of a hypocrite because for some reason, “some how Palpatine returned,” gets a pass from me.

I go revenge of the sith as number one for me then empire two. I’m with everyone else on rise but I understand loving a movie that gets carpet bombed by the public. Evan almighty is probably the best time I’ve ever had watching a movie.

I think my favorite Star Wars one is the New on called Star Wars:The Force Awakens…

I agree with @ozymandias

Rogue One was brilliant

I still love Return of the Jedi, cause I’m just the right age that I was the perfect little girl target audience to be enamored with the Ewoks.

Don’t suspend me.

I love the seventies trilogy much more than the added prequel and sequel movies…just nostalgic for me…but I can’t wait to see the Mandalorian and Rogue One now.
