Just venting.
The prequels put a dent in things but the last 2 movies have actually spoiled things completely for me.
I have the original 3 movies and used to watch them every so often, now I don’t really have the desire to do so.
Thanks Disney.

I’m not much of a fan outside of the three originals, myself.
The villain seems poorly cast, he just comes across like a spoiled brat who has had his toys taken away. I also feel like the protagonist is forgettable.
Only character that keeps me interested is Finn.
I loved episodes 1-3 though, and 4-6 are freaking perfect.
I revisited the prequels recently. Enjoyed them more than I thought I would. The recent Disney ones are trash though
Revenge of the sith is quite graphic actually. My nephews want to watch it but I think it is too adult for them
At one point they re-released 4-6 to theater with some extra CGI scenes, like a neat music scene at the cantina with a singing alien. I saw all three in the theater with my late grandad. I had already seen them on TV but it was nice to see them in a theater.
I’m not a Star Wars fan.
I liked them all
Loved the first three movies when they first came out. Tried watching them again in my 30s, and, uhhhhh…
The three prequels? Patooey. Jar Jar Binks? PATOOEY!
Midi-chlorians? Proof that Lucas probably smokes weed. [facepalm]
Solo? Blech.
Force Awakens and Last Jedi? Double and triple blech. Whiniest, least scary antagonist ever.
Surprise gem? Rogue One. Kinda liked it, especially the 'bot.

Embarrassing enough I have never seen any of the star wars movies.
I’ve liked ALL the Star Wars movies.
Currently re-watching Predator 2 right now.
Gotta respect the classics!

i decided after seeing the last jedi that I won’t be watching any more of the new Star Wars…enough is enough…I enjoy the older star wars more.
doesn’t bother me, its just a film tbh, i’d much rather read now tbh, i remember i got much more from a book than i ever did a movie, its just finding a book that keeps my attention now.
My cousin calls Palpatine “electricity man”
I enjoyed the Han Solo film and the Rouge One.
The continuation of the main story is a load of rubbish though.
I liked none of the Star Wars movies.
The plot sucks.
Also, the acting is not very good.
And the characters are pretty stupid and uninteresting.
The only character I liked was R2D2.
I’ve tried to watch them three times but always i get bored.
I won’t try again
I’ve seen rogue one at the theater but i can’t remember if it was good
as it fisealed in too the night. a movie was made.
You sound exactly like my partner. He has the original movies which he used to watch at least once a year. He didn’t mind the prequels, there were things that kinda sucked about them but they at least were in the same vein as the original three. Then Disney comes along and buys the rights to Star Wars, and since then it has been all about making money. My partner loathes the new films, and like you he has had no desire to watch any of the Star Wars films since the new movies have come out. He feels that they’ve ruined its good reputation.
