The original series was cool to watch when I was a kid but that’s it. Then came the prequels which I didn’t like.

I went to the theater to see the new ones and didn’t really understand any of it. The special effects were cool but I didn’t remember anything from the story.

I’m a guy btw!

The original series had a great story but I think people see the new series because of their special effects. That’s it!

I’m sure they exist, but I’m betting that they are fewer and farther between than men/boys who are fans.

I remember when they rereleased the the original 3 star wars in the theaters years back. I went to see Empire with one of my sisters. From my memory, I think she enjoyed it. It was awhile ago. Does that mean she was a rabid fan? I doubt it.

Btw, I enjoyed the original 3 star wars as a child but am not such a big fan of newer ones. I am a guy also.

Tbf, ever since I became psychotic n medicated, I have only enjoyed like 2 to 3 movies.

Star Wars is OK. I like some of it, but it’s definitely not my favorite. I also don’t really like Star Trek. Never saw the old ones and the newer ones are so flawed; the writing sucks.

However, I love The Orville, which is based on Star Trek. It’s fantastic. Has some flaws, but it’s still pretty great.

I am biologically female (tho consider myself transgender) and I was a Star Wars fanatic back in the 70s and 80s, when the original series came out. I had all of the action figures and toys, my parents didn’t mind that I was a “tomboy”…my sister played with Barbie, I played with Boba Fett. I was also a major Trekkie.

I never could get interested in the Star Wars movies after the original ones, just didn’t feel that connection. I just wish I had all of those toys now to sell on Ebay!!!

A girl that liked me when i was 18 gave me star wars wristbands. I think she liked star wars? Lol she was pretty cute :grin:

I like it almost as much as I did when I was 8
if I could have any model in the world it would be one of the large millennium falcons from the 80’s
don’t know if they still make them the same but I bet the old ones are super expensive

Im a guy but my gf loves sci fi. Prefers star trek over star wars but shes probably a bigger nerd than me shes 26. Shes a huge gamer too. More than me these days.
I think sci fi and gaming used to be more focused on their male consumers which sucked.

I’d like to get my nieces into Star Wars but I think they’re too young. There’s a lot of violence in Star Wars. I’m a huge Star Wars fan, but I’m a guy obviously.
