I had a relapse when I was put on invega.

I had a bit of a relapse when I was getting taken off Latuda and put on Geodon… that was NOT a good month…

I’m grateful I got put back on Latuda…

I first got sick in 1980. I didn’t function for the next two years. I spent 8 months in a locked psychiatric hospital in1982 and they heavily medicated me. After I got out, my new doc tapered me down and I became fairly stable. I figured I would never be hospitalized again but in 1988 I had a pretty bad relapse and I was hospitalized 5 or 6 times for about 3 or 4 days apiece. I think being addicted to crack might have had something do with it. I got clean in 1990 while living in a Board & Care home and I haven’t been hospitalized since then.
