For the past 9 years no psychiatrist has ever asked me about my unusual beliefs. Until last time, when they did. I was shocked, I thought they didn’t get into that.

My p.doc asks me about my delusions and how theyre doing. Im going through a bit of a tough spot right now and am dealing with ongoing delusions with minimal insight. Usually my insight is really good. If i happen to have a hallucination she asks about that too.

They never asked me about my delusions. I only got asked about what the voices told me or their mechanisms the three times I’ve been introduced to a shrink for this.

One of my psychiatrists always asks me if I have any delusions or hallucinations or want to hurt or kill myself or anyone else. I always tell her no.

I just did a video visit with my psychiatrist about a week ago. Her main concern was my positive and negative symptoms. Mostly positive though.

None of the doctors I’ve met with ask me anything about my crisis symptoms after I tell them my diagnosis. I don’t understand that, aren’t they supposed to be interested to know more about the disorder? Thankfully I can talk to my psychologist about them

She asks me occasionally but not very often

My pdoc always ask if I have delusions, we never go into detail though, I feel like I have a good pdoc though, I’ve had a pdoc that has asked before though when if first became ill

At my first appointment he asked me for some examples of what I was experiencing,

Never asked again.

Just asks about severity of symptoms.

Yes and I even had a gp doctor ask me and I hate explaining it to them

I talk to mine about my symptoms I think it’s important that they know what I go through so it can be kept in check accurately
