Occasionally, like you I hear my door bell ringing but no one is there. Also I hear my mother yelling my name even when she’s not there.
Thanks for the voting
I used to hear voices, moanes and gun shots 24/7 for years but thankfully they went away.
I remember it felt like I was being tortured.
It was so much suffering.
Things can get better.
They did for me.
Before medication I heard people calling my name when they didn’t, but that was it.
Wow, 33% of us who never hear voices.
Quite surprising. I guess most of us are just delusional.
I chose “never” because I never hear them any more. More than 10 years ago I did have an episode however.
-A.
My voices sound like my innervoice, sometimes I hear them in sounds. I have never hallucinated voices or sounds that I couldn’t tell apart from reality. They just sound unreal.
Thanks for responding to my Poll.
Sometimes - about once a week to once a month.
Off meds more than once a week and sometimes every day.
Thanks for responding.
I’m told I do because the Navy SEALs and I have had conversation, but I think they’re real. Not sure which I should put as an answer. I don’t randomly hear voices
I occasionally hear a single voice, male, making comments. Usually not nasty.
You’re lucky your voice isn’t nasty. At least you got a little mercy in that way
