I’m curious to know how many people get Social Security Disability (or whatever it’s called where you live) for their SZ?
- Yes, I get disability.
- No, I don’t get disability.
- It’s not an option in the country I live in.

last two years…it has helped me heaps
take care
Yes I get disability from the gov
I’m waiting for approval
Good luck, I hope you get it quickly!
In my country there is no that kind of support. It is a big problem for me.
I’m sorry to hear that.
same here…
I just applied… Fingers crossed
I am on SSDI. It’s a hard life to live.
I wish everyone good luck in getting their disability. I’m on SSI I don’t get much but it helps with our high rent. I know somebody trying to get ssdi that has to wait 16 months before she gets it.
I’m on SSI too. For me it’s been a Godsend to get Medicaid. I would have never been able to see a therapist, let alone a psychiatrist.
Going through my second time around applying. Hopefully I’ll get it this time.
From one orange to another, I’m rooting for you!
I get SSDI plus VA disability.
I am in the process of applying. I am praying that I get it. No way I can work a normal job like this. Between having schizophrenia and the meds I am a mess.
Hi @pasteyface
Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.
Thanks,
