I voted no. I agree with much of what has been said. Personally, I always feel as if I get funny looks whenever i’m in crowded places. When I think of it logically, I know it must be in my head.
I think as sz individuals we can benefit from thinking everyone likes us because that obviously would assist in our copeing with the affliction.
But generally speaking, caring about what others think about you could be a bad thing if you obsess about it.
That’s how all those people ended up joining jim jones and consequently committed suicide.
Sure do agree with your assessment. Generally, I don’t worry so much about what strangers may think. It’s when I have too much time to think (in isolation) that it becomes a problem.
