When covid is over, I go swimming again…
Today I lifted a Big Mac and an order of fries. I’m exhausted.
I have an exercise routine I do everyday, as well as go for a walk. I’ve started doing a little Qi gong as well
I count my steps and walk around the house occasionally but I don’t really count that as exercising because I’m not breaking a sweat.
The only exercise that I get regularly is walking the dog.
Why don’t you vote @77nick77?
He is to tired to type… Lifting things…
No I changed my vote to exercising occasionally.
Step tracking counts as exercise, I also rarely lift some dumbbells for a short period of time.
He’s also too busy playing comedian
Once my dog started refusing to go for walks, that was the end of my daily exercise.
I walk a lot to my library and around my neighborhood.
My doctor asked me to see a physio, who has me doing exercises three times a week and walking the other four days. I was getting puffed going up stairs which wasn’t a good sign.
I am don’t move at all.
I should walk
I started with a simple fitness tracker. Steps. Goal was building up to 10,000 steps a day because that is about 10km’s walking which is pretty good and advertised as being beneficial. It’s hard to get going. It really is but every step is better than none and each day getting some more in or doing some different exercise. It’s worth it because your worth it and it’s so worth it health wise. !
I usually get a decent walk in every day, except if I’m at work I might skip it, but I work in a large shop so I get quite a few steps in there as well. Normally I train strenght too, but I’m in the middle of a med switch and I’ve not been feeling great the last few days, so just conserving my strenght to deal with this and possible insomnia.
As the psychiatrists used to waste my health with medication I lost interest living a healthy lifestyle. I am thinking about exercising and have good intentions, but that doesn’t count as actually doing it.
I do long walks 5-15 kms and exercise on my stationary bike 40-45 min. I do both a couple of times a week.
I have a gym membership and I try and go 4x a week to swim
