I believe there is something Spooky out there
after all isnāt living a weird experience. ? I get quite scared when I think about the afterlife myself. What is it all about? WHy
If you think about how big the universe is (observed universe), the fact that it is infinite and expanding, and then the odds for life to occur, yes, there is other life in the universe. My high school physics teacher at an international school told us that you would fail Astronomy, one of the other classes he taught if you didnāt think there was other life in the universe. My scripture teacher at a Catholic school I went to told us that the odds of life happening are like throwing a dart from across a football field into the center of a dartboard, so there is only life on Earth. I asked him āwhat if you get infinite tries? The universe is infintiteā and he got mad. lol.
I personally think that the physics teacher was right, also, I personally hope that the Sangheili from Halo are somewhere out there. Lol
I changed my vote, I had originally voted no. I havenāt seen evidence of extraterrestrial life but it is a big universe and I donāt rule it out. So I changed my vote to unsure.
What are we talking here when we say aliens? Like little grey men who abduct people? Intelligent life on other planets? Or life on other planets period?
Because as Mortimer said about the universe being so vast and all the chances are said to be pretty good that life has developed on other planets. Some form of life anyway. I mean the chances of intelligent life such as usā¦I canāt imagine those chances being very great but you know it could happen.
Do I believe in alien life existing somewhere in the universe? Yes. It would be unthinkably bizarre if earth were alone in this. Do I believe in intelligent alien beings? Itās certainly possible but Iāve never seen one on earth or anywhere else so who am I to say?

i think there are aliens so i voted yes, they just canāt get here and we canāt get there so unless they have some undiscovered means of travel then we will never see them, i guess what i mean is that if man has evolved from apes and the conditions were right on another planet then why not?
I believe that āgut level feelingā we all get about life other than on earth is really that we all āknowā in our deepest heart that there is something out thereā¦I believe we all āsenseā that Heaven could be out there and thatās why angels and people from Heaven are seen in the sky. I realize I will probably be attacked but Iām just being honest.
I believe that the universe must harbor many life forms besides us. Many of those life forms must be less intelligent than us, but some are probably more intelligent. If they are advanced enough that they can traverse the vast distances of space they are probably advanced enough to easily wipe us out. Hopefully, once a civilization becomes advanced enough to travel the vast distances of space it will be enlightened enough not to destroy humanity. On the other hand, they could be very intelligent and very malignant. Could be they are watching us now to see if we are worth helping.
I think you underestimate the forum. Itās become a very positive place. Remember the last forum?

thank you Malvok, yes, this place is peaceful I agreeā¦it was so much more turbulent on the former site. I feel safe here but I thought because of the nature of my post I still feel like āyikes, Iām gonnaā get itā. I applaud the work you do on this site and thank all the rest of the people in charge of this forum. Kudos, really.

Yeah Iād have to agree that this is a rather comfortable place to post. I was off posting on a new forum for a good while before coming back here and it is nice to be back. I had that same yikes feeling earlier today after posting a good amount of opinions on another forum and ended up getting pretty defensive with someone who it turned out wasnāt even responding to me but another poster entirely. Oops. just a little sensitive hereā¦

It doesnāt have to be spookyā¦ sometimes it can be but not always.
Consider also that angels are not of this world so technically are āalienā beings though they may not be strictly biological entities.
Pretty spooky āaliensāā¦these are both pretty and spooky. I personally do not find them spooky and know what they are all about, but most people think they are spookyā¦
I have seen a lot of ancient aliens on t.v. And I say that I remain unsure.
I got so into ancient alien stuff when I was 17. I was up at night a lot on the internet just searching. This was before all the ancient alien stuff hit the history channel and what not and it was like Iād finally found something Iād never heard anybody talk about. It appealed to both my intellectual side and my desire to be on the fringe. I gotta give my then girlfriend credit for all the ancient alien stuff she always so patiently listened to and never criticized no matter how absurdly excited I got about this particular ancient ruin or that archaeological anomalyā¦

I also read a lot about aliens and the like when I was 17. Combine that with a christian background, paranoid dad, and conspiracy mom. Then reading about nephilim and illuminati experiments. Needlesstosay I didnāt fall asleep easily. In fact, there was a month where every night I would lay awake thinking I saw a face in the dark right above me. It would scare me so much I would go into shock, half-way pass out, and float to the ceiling(as the bible would call giving up the ghost).
wow, that reminds me of that movie ādarkness fallsā where the boy couldnāt be in the dark or a monster could get him so he had to always be surrounded by light at night. Scared my little nephews and niece to pieces when they saw it. I donāt think my sister should have let the young ones watch it because the monster preyed on children only. anyways, that sounds really frightful for you bear. I have dreams about my grandpa whoās spirit is at unrest and bugs me a lot. I do not fear my grandpas spirit. He is just really sad. I keep praying he will reach the other side yet his presence is very noticeable to me.

Or 6th sense with Bruce Willis? Iām over it now, but I still donāt sleep with the light on for the simple fact that I donāt like darkness. I feel that real darkness likes to linger in places that lack light, so I just avoid it, even though it doesnāt really frighten me.
Sorry about your grandpa. When my grandpa died, my family came back, and the house smelled like cigarette smoke. None of us smoke, but he did. Apparently he visits from time to time.
