No, if I did, I would be freaked out all the time. My parents have a landline and constantly get scam, charity and other calls from numbers we don’t know.

On my own phone, I don’t usually answer them if I don’t know the number that called me. I might answer if its local. A lot of the time my cell phone will say “Scam Likely” on it as well and tip me off when its a scam call.

I would , but I get so many robocalls now Ive become desensitized to it. I still answer though just in case its somebody important.

Not really. My phone had a function where it shows “probably spam” under the number that calls.
Any number I don’t recognise or expect, I let it ring and then look it up to see if it’s someome I want to talk to.
I figure if it’s important, they’ll send a text or an email

No, I get spam and scam calls regularly, I’m used to them. I was just answering calls where I recognize the number but my mental health agency uses about 5 or 6 different numbers so I was missing lots of calls from doctors and my therapist so now I answer most calls from local and surrounding cities. if it’s an out-of-state number or from far part of California I don’t answer. If it’s a spam caller and I pick up by accident I can tell by the first sentence that it’s a spam or a telemarketer and I immediately hang up. Their calls usual mention car insurance, loans, social security, car warranties or medicare in the first sentence so I hang those calls up. Social Security or Medicare will never contact you by phone.

no but the scam texts I get are scary…I always delete them instead of clicking on them.

No, I get crap calls and debt collection calls all the time. I just don’t answer the phone if I don’t recognize the number. If they really need to talk to me they can leave a message and identify who they are.

I get scammers calling me all the time, I just don’t answer the phone if it’s not on my contact list or I don’t recognize the number.

yeah i do get freaked out like who am i ending up getting stuck talking to? Just leave a voicemail. if its local i’m more likely to answer. my phone tells me scam alert levels too. never answer those myself.

I used to get really freaked out. I thought the feds were messing with me.

It’s most likely just scammers though.

I did get a hang up call the other day though. That kinda pissed me off for a few.

I freak out as in get annoyed. I’ve had a lot less fake calls since I switched numbers but I’m sure they’ll start soon.

It’s always spam when I answer the phone or it goes to voicemail. Plus, I don’t recognize the number on my cell phone.

I got freaked out back in 2006 when I got calls. It was a landline. I didn’t know the number that was calling and there was no answer on the other end. That bothered me. My mom said it was probably spam calls. Anyway, we got rid of the line 1-2 years later and just used our cell phones.

I get calls from scammers almost every day. I just discard the calls with long phone numbers.
