My phone doesn’t ring often anymore. When I had heartpain my phone was constantly ringing and I switched it off for one month to recover. These days it rings rarely and already know who is calling when it rings. How do you handle phonecalls ?
My cellphone is on mute most of the time. I call back ppl who called me and listen to their voicemail. Its mostly one of my friends who calls everyday.
I think as well, when it’s important they can sms or voicemail.
I screen all my calls. I only answer if I know who it is
I get 20 calls a day, I only answer the people I want to talk to.
99 percent of our calls on landline are scammers.
We don’t answer these calls.
On my cell phone I answer the phone only when I recognize the number, otherwise I’ll let the calls go to voicemail.
I take pride in how quick I am to put a call on ignore.
I answer unless my phone says it is spam. I get a lot of calls from doctor offices and other places so I need to check.
I despise voicemail, mainly because my hypochondriac overly needy brother leaves me like 15 a day, along with endless texts. Right now 95% of my voice calls are scams purporting to switch my electric to a better rate. Any number I don’t know, I block immediately.
I rarely let my phone ring. Only if I’m expecting a call. I mostly respond to voicemail.
I answer my phone if it’s a person I know or a number from my city
I’ll answer if I want to talk, but I’ve got no problem just letting it go to voicemail. Sometimes I just don’t feel like talking to anyone
No but I often feel obligated to smash it to bits with a baseball bat
I get so many calls from from doctors for either me or Little LED, so I always answer unless my phone says it’s spam. But I only say hello once.
A lot of times if it’s spam the phone system they’re using won’t click over to a person until you say hello a second time, so if no one answers you can usually be certain it’s spam. My partner used to work at a call center for a national photography company and that’s how their phone system worked.
I don’t answer any calls unless it’s from my Care team and Social Services. I don’t like socializing on the phone so I avoid every other calls including friends - which i don’t really have, family, robo sales calls. I don’t feel bad about it anymore. I know its part of my symptoms and would cause me more anxiety stress and triggers to accept calls.
I get six scam or telemarketer calls a day. Every day. I don’t answer my phone unless I recognize the number.
Yep, that’s what’s been happening when I get calls.
