I’m on disability but don’t consider myself disabled. I’m going back to work on Monday. That word is very strong and powerful in my opinion. I am more able than disabled
I’m on disability, but fairly stable on my shot. I’m independant though, able to care for myself.
I can feed myself and live independently wash myself
Go to the toilet
Talk and walk
Not really. I can do a lot of things (drive and shop and walk and cook etc) but I am not very independent that I could work or go places alone.
I’m on disability…but I can do basic things. I cant drive anymore which I use to do for work. I don’t really feel comfortable around people…specifically large groups. my concentration and lack of thinking and lack of attention makes me unable to do most work. For the most part iam…but maymbe there is a possibility to grow…
I’m on the edge…
I replied disabled simply because I can’t do all the things I want to. For instance, I cannot volunteer in any of my kids’ classrooms because of the noise and I would get paranoid about the other adults working there and perhaps even the kids. I know I could never tolerate being in such confined areas with so many people for very long.
But I am able to do a lot of things. Go to the store even. But not up to working yet, though I’d like to soon.
I’m on disability but I find social anxiety and low mood to be more disabling than schizophrenia which has pretty much gone into remission…
Feels like it a lot of times…
It is a form of disability.
Some times I am extremely disabled… sometimes I am better than those around me.
Between all of my symptoms I’m definitely disabled.
The Anxiety and Agoraphobia is crippling enough.
I have a Case Manager that is helping me become more independent.
oh yeah, I’m disabled…can’t work anymore. I’ve tried and tried…always got suicidal when I failed. nope, can’t work.
I’m definitely socially disabled.
On paper I’m disabled but I don’t see myself as disabled.
im also socially challenged and lack common sense
I hate to sound defeatist, but yes, I am.
Those with anosognosia will most likely say No Disability. They say 50% of SZ have anosognosia.
I think that those with it wouldn’t have joined this forum.
I’m not disabled I do a lot of things but I don’t work
Past year I worked one year with little medication to no medication but without Anasognosia medication make us more disabled we need something better
