My psychiatrist wanted to give me romparkin, an anti Parkinson med as a caution but I did not take it
Also I ask her about genesight and it’s not available in my country
Now that I really think about it, I think the haldol is helping but not perfect. I still have symptoms and it’s a struggle for me to accept them as just symptoms. I dunno. I hope it works well for you.

I still take procyclidine 20mg a day. I started on 10mg, but it became clear quickly EPS was a problem, so it got upped. That was three AP’s ago now in less than a year, I don’t know why I am still taking it

The one time I was given Haldol, I stayed up all night pacing my hospital room in circles. Bad akithisia.
I was getting the injection and it was very sedating and I ended up gaining 30lbs. I was also sleeping 16 to 18 hours a day. I was also taking Olanzapine with it.
Just wanted to add since it’s a concern for everyone - Haldol is weight neutral for me. I’ve maintained my weight for the past 16 months and lost my Abilify weight prior to that.
I’m on 7.5 at night makes me tired gives me headaches but I can’t sleep without it.

No I started out with the shot. I take the pills for anxiety though. 2 mg.
