I realized today that my thoughts are getting more confused. The beings have varying degrees of control over my thoughts. I think. But it’s possible that they are all my thoughts. I don’t understand how thoughts can seem to have their own minds. They claimed to be separate from me. If they have their own minds then they might think they’re separate. Can thoughts have their own minds? The beings are my thoughts I think. It makes more sense. Do you think the beings are my thoughts or that they put thoughts in my head? It sounds like people are talking in my head. Someone just said the beings are real. Is this possible?
anything that’s in your head is generated by your own mind
No it is not real. Not only the thoughts, but the voices themselves are a part of you. They are the result of a part of your body (your brain) having a hallcination. (and maybe a delusion if you think they are real?)
You dont have to do what voices say to either. Voices just make things up or say something sh- - - y.
Is it possible for there to be just one thing in your mind that doesn’t belong to you?
Even what is out of your head (if there really is something out there…).
I notice you seem to have a lot of intelligent responses, are you in college? I honestly can’t remember your demos for some reason.
I wish I was, I dropped during the third year of high school.
Oh I did too! But I went back for my diploma later. I dropped college.
How many years later?
@Sardonic The best way to silence your thoughts, I find, is to distract your mind. Do a puzzle, go for a walk, listen to music, watch a movie.
Some days I just lay in bed and ponder about my life. I only do this for about 20 minutes or so.
An idle mind is a playground.
first semester, I just couldn’t do it. So overwhelming. So big. No way
I meant how many years later did you go back for your diploma.
oh…about two years I guess
@Sardonic I happen to disagree with what others have said above. I do not believe the voices (such as in an hallucination) are our own voices. I believe they are from an independent, separate will, not my own. I base this on my personal experience. Now what you are describing is very complex: How can you have separate ideas in your head that you feel don’t belong to you? I don’t think anyone knows for sure how schizophrenia works, but I have my own opinions. It is possible it is from a separate will working. And of course this is a symptom of schizophrenia and needs treatment.
So if one entity can control involuntary thoughts, then by extension, multiple can as well.
@anon57786250 I will do more to distract myself like play my clarinet. I haven’t been doing that.
I’m gonna be honest. I am open minded to spirits kind of things cos you just never know but for me personally I think it is most likely to be your own mind. And I highly lean towards the opinion that it is from your own mind only a tiny fraction of my mind thinks what if its something else… Very tiny fraction.
Please dont think I am attempting to debate you. Im not. But I think what you said here is just as concerning as what circle of fifth s is questioning.
I may not know the intricasies of sz or a particular person with a MI. What I have noticed, from your post, is that you are saying you think something is possible which isnt.
Our brains, like the rest of our body is just a bunch of different kinds of cells.
Both you and circle offifths sound and look like great people, so I do respect feelings as well as mental health when I say these things you believe is concerning.
That’s good, the more you’re distracted, the quieter your thoughts become. If they become loud just yell back at them.
Even though my concentration is really bad, I try and read a book sometimes. It shuts the voices up and my voices turn into the words that I’m reading.
I’m not sure what I should believe.
