Plans to Change Study Direction

Hello.

I called the college and inquired about nursing studies. By the way, I’m ready to retake certain exams—or rather, take them from scratch—biology, IT, in order to get a better competitive score.

Is it too early to draw conclusions? Hard to say. Honestly, I have no clue. Officially, I started working in the medical field on August 4th. I find it interesting, I’m doing well, and so on—but… I don’t want to make decisions in advance.

Next. Suppose I decide to go study nursing… what should I do with “analytical journalism,” which I’m currently on academic leave from? And would I be applying too late?

I’d be 26–27, depending on the choices I make. I’d already have a lot of experience in the medical field if I continue working here, at the clinic, but… is it too late? Strange questions come up.

I wish I could just dream the answers to everything. :joy:

You will be 27 eventually anyways. You can be 27 with a degree or 27 with no degree. My mom got her nursing degree at age 44. She has had a long career and even worked her way up into management now that she has less physical endurance.
