Well, it’s from Christmas, but you get the idea. There are bookcases on either side of our fireplace.
Yeah but the idea was to see what books you’re interested in but it’s too far away to see
All good tho regardless:)
Thanks for sharing
I do not have a bookcase and I do not have many books, they are on the floor. In the past I had many books, f.ex. in America I had a big bookcase with many books but after a divorce I left these behind. I probably have just 20 books now, I rarely read these.
Aha! Well, in that case, I’ll just tell you. I have Greek Mythology, Shakespeare, 18th C. British Literature (particularly plays), poetry books, Faulkner, Hawthorne, and Twain; romance novels by both Christine Feehan and Sherrilyn Kenyon, books on computing that I don’t understand (coding in PHP, .net, etc), books on dog breeds and training, Harry Potter, Fablehaven, and too many other kids’ books to even list a few!
We have a book recycling point at our library. People bring their old books and other people can take them. I got one book ‘English critical essays’ 1950, I may read it but I have difficulties to concentrate and so it may also find my books on the floor. The book recycling is great. Some people take there also DVDs and other films.
I gave away nearly every book I owned in the last month. There was a mix of fiction and non-fiction, mostly by Christian writers. I wrote the most important passages in a journal and set the books free to inspire someone else who just happened to be shopping at Goodwill that day.
I am now building a new library of Christian non-fiction. I mentioned on another thread that I cashed in $48 worth of Amazon points yesterday. I got $83 in books for only $36 and free shipping. I am looking forward to getting them! I am running out of things to read while I’m still job hunting. I volunteer twice a week, but I still have a lot of free time!
It’s too camera-shy. I got an extrovert sink who likes the attention; try him instead.
My phone camera sucks so I’ll just tell you. I have an impressive collection of For Dummies books. A dedicated Sherlock Holmes shelf. A dedicated American Civil War shelf. A dedicated religious shelf. A dedicated Calvin and Hobbes shelf. A dedicated bird book shelf. A small dedicated poetry shelf. Plus a ton of books on my Kindle. Also a few odds and ends books in a shoe box under my bed.
I feel sorry for those books on your bottom shelf @Jonnybegood. I may have to report you to LABA.
Librarians Against Book Abuse
Erf. Mine’s packed and in boxes.
I don’t have a bookcase nor many books.
I had a wooden coffin shaped bookcase and a lot of books my husband bought. I smashed it and burned the books in a psychotic episode. Now my library is on kindle.
Please tell me it’s a Kindle Fire
It’s a Fire tablet.
I love my Fire. I cannot imagine using a different tablet. And I love the blueshade option for reading in bed at night.
The irony lol 333
I want a Kindle so bad!!! If only!
