I’ve always admired and looked up to these people
I tried to create my own bookshelf but it’s quite small at the moment
I do enjoy reading a good book

Yes I’ve noticed that too lol I have a bookcase that’s getting too small, I need a second one to hold my new novels.
That or a computer doing something IMPORTANT. Like being set to windows Task Manager on the performance tab with all of the impressive looking little lines showing PC performance in the background. Gotta up that geek cred.

I watch a lot of documentaries, and whenever a director or screenwriter is interviewed I’m always scanning their bookshelf haha!
Also often in the spiel by the reporter before the person talks there is a montage of the person opening a random book and looking at a page lol
