I went to ride my bicycle to see my father at the elderly care facility today. On my way I saw a car on the road and then I saw one elderly Roma couple next to the car. I stopped and talked with them and they told how they had tried to get some help, but nobody had stopped to help them, because they had run out of gasoline. They just needed a ride to a gasoline station. I could not help them because I was on my bike. Often other people discriminate against Roma people also here in my little town. About an hour later after my visit to see my father I came to the same place and saw that their car had been pushed off the road, but I did not see this elderly couple. They probably were on their journey to get gasoline. I have sometimes seen them at our local hospital and they are good people, they are not gypsies, but Roma. Sometimes people are just so rude.

It’s confusing at the best of times to understand people. I truly do not expect anything from anyone
