Has anyone tried peer to peer therapy for schizophrenia with any success?

Do you mean some sort of group therapy?

Peer support workers are those who have a condition and help others with similar or same mental health conditions. I’ve considered becoming a peer support worker !!

Cool where you at?

Do you do it as a career @jh85?

I volunteer as a peer supporter. Some places pay them.

I’m a professional slacker and study part time, as well as volunteering at the local volunteer centre.

@JH85 your achievements are awesome for someone with schizophrenia!
I don’t like you calling yourself a slacker you’re a great person!

I was looking into it as a career I was told volunteering would really support me in getting into it. I think you are amazing

Perhaps make a appointment to see the local volunteer centre. There are quite a few in London

Do you know of anything that works for the negative symptoms?

I have heard that low dose amisulpride might help with negative symptoms.
You might want to check it out.
Also there’s the supplement sarcosine.

I’m trying probiotics and gastrodin. Coffee works too
