Paliperidone pills vs risperidone pills

If you had to choose one which one would you choose . I heard they are almost the same when it comes to how they work but yeah let me know if you have tried any of them

I’ve tried them both and I prefer the Invega pills. I’m currently taking Invega Trinza injections and they work well.

Thanks. I’m on invega sustenna and it’s going good but i need to switch to pills if i wanna travel soon

I only tried risperidone its perfect for positive symptoms, the only med on which i have 0 positive symptoms and 0 anger issues. Other meds i either had anger issues or positive symptoms. According to studies risperidone is a bit more effective than paliperidone, paliperidone is only one of risperidone metabolites

I’ve tried both. I prefer Risperidone, which I’m on now…

Risperidone controls my positives much better, with fewer side effects and no weight gain.

12 mg Risperidone was too much, but 8 mg seems to be my sweet spot. I was on 12 mg of Invega pills.

Same thing. Id try a less risky med if you can.

Paliperidone gave me horrible insomnia and sped me up
