Hi folks. This is my cousins husbands contraption for bar b. You start with the meat up high and lower it through the day as you chase the coals. No gas. Pure wood.
Meat was ridiculously good. Had pork, lamb, chicken and beef with some ribs. Only a little bit of beef survived to the next day!

Hey @anon97118089. Some communities out bush have no fire rules especially in summer and hot windy weather. This was middle of suburbia so all good. Interesting way to cook but very effective. Meat was great!
