Open Fire Bar B Que! TW for Veges!

Hi folks. This is my cousins husbands contraption for bar b. You start with the meat up high and lower it through the day as you chase the coals. No gas. Pure wood.

Meat was ridiculously good. Had pork, lamb, chicken and beef with some ribs. Only a little bit of beef survived to the next day!

Crazily good and just never seen this before but this is how you do it!

My boyfriend has a Webber but it is a different model with a lid but it smokes with wood and Coles I think.

Is it true that you cant have an open flame braai in OZ?

Thats a bit disappointing?

How did you manage this one if its illegal?

Hey @anon97118089. Some communities out bush have no fire rules especially in summer and hot windy weather. This was middle of suburbia so all good. Interesting way to cook but very effective. Meat was great!
