It’s not the weather, it’s just one of those days where I really want to get up and go do something but I’m stuck laying in bed feeling terrible. I can’t stop feeling sorry for myself that I have this disease.
If I didn’t have the psychotic component to it then I would not be disabled. It is absolutely unbelievable how bad psychosis is. No wonder it’s one of the most disabling conditions known to man

Life wouldn’t be perfect, and it wasn’t perfect before I got this illness. But I would not be so alone.
I don’t get it. Once you’ve had psychosis you become an instant outcast. It’s almost like we do it to ourselves. I’ll never be relationship material again because I would literally need someone that I could commiserate with around the clock.

My sister-in-law committed suicide yesterday evening. Got a bad news phone call last night just before midnight. I wasn’t close to the woman, but my wife and kid are both wrecks. Gonna be a long week as we will probably have to fly out of province for support.

I had something similar happen in my family and none of us will ever be the same
That is so awful. Suicide is nothing one can take back. Were there kids in their family?
Two. One is 22 and the other is 9, both girls. This is pretty horrible.

@MeghillaGorilla1 I know this sounds trite, but please don’t give up. You’re worthy of more than feeling like this and I’m sorry you’ve been dealt such a shitty hand, but don’t let it define you.
You’ve been really kind to me, I really like getting to know you every time we have the chance. I think you’re a really great person and I’d like to know you better. So please don’t give up, you’ve got a lot to offer.

Eh, thanks all. I’m doing okay – this was one of those wrecks you could see coming a long way off. Not that anyone was interested in my opinion. The thing about being right a lot? It usually sucks.

We all hear you, man. God knows I’ve been there. Have you thought of trying some type of new med that might help you get out of it - maybe an antidepressant, or Abilify? Maybe you’re taking too heavy a dose of antipsychotic medication. Whatever you do, I hope you get better. I know the misery of your condition. I’m not too far from there right now.

Strength to you, Pix. I know you’ve probably got a lot of extended family time coming up. My love and condolences to your family. I’m sorry your sister in law was in so much pain, and sorry for the pain your wife and child are feeling now.
