I take an oldie called perphenazine for over six or so years. I have trouble take atypical.meds.

Anyone here take an oldie med?

I used to take Haldol and Flupentixol

Both made me have a bad reaction but I stayed on Haldol for about a year or so

I’ve been on perphenazine for around 4 months now. I had basically been on invega since 2008. I take 4mgs twice a day. I hope I never take invega again. Im thinking about asking my doctor to up the dose if possible. What dosage are you on?

Chlorpromazine and haloperidol

I’ve been on Clopixol depot for about 2 years in the past. It helped tremendously for positive symptoms but it was very sedating and it had other side effects.

Age 18 to 27 I was on stelazine

I’ve been trying different older meds the last several years. Perphenazine didn’t help me at all. Now I’m on haloperidol.

16 mg 2xday. For quite sometime.

Damn I didn’t know you could get that dose. I left a message for my doctor. I’m gonna ask for a higher dose. Thanks for your input.

I’ve been on an old meds called Clopixol for 26 years. I take it in injection. It does my psychosis good. I’m calm relaxed and quite. I like how it makes me feel.

I took Loxapine for about 18 months. I did well on it except for when it gave me tremors and TD

I do appreciate Clopixol for putting me to sleep 4 - 8 hours every night. This is the only antipsychotics that I can find sleep on every night.
