Numbers have significance

This is something that’s been going on for me since before my actual break. I did mushrooms several months before I lost it and was marching around a peer shouting 25. I got sick when I was 20 and thought 25 would be the age I died. Now I’m obsessed with the numbers of tv channels I watched when I was a kid. I feel like significant things will happen when I reach the age those channels were specifically 32, 37 and 48.

IDK what tell you except the channels are unrelated to your age and those numbers don’t predict what will happen to you at those ages. I don’t know how to say it clearer.

It’s not a firmly held belief. I’m not completely convinced they actually mean anything. Kind of half way between a delusion and an intrusive thought.

Nope for me numbera are just reference to standardize what we see around us

I used to be obsessed with “angel numbers”

777, 666, 555 1111, etc.

I also believed something great would happen when I was 27. I doubt it lol… but maybe… haven’t made it to 27 just yet

I guess you’re aware it’s just the Illness. No need for me to tell you that, but obviously as your insight into the illness gets better, remission is more likely I would say.

666 was big for me too. Again I was never fully deluded over it, I would just notice that number when I saw it and get a little creeped out. This would happen a lot on the treadmill.

I probably need to change my name at this point . It’s been 12 and a half years. Unless one of these new meds seriously changes things it ain’t happening lol. At least not for me.

The same thing happens to me. I’ve always had a “strange experience” with car license plates. I get obsessed with seeing the numbers 111, 222, and so on.

15 01 1957 = 29= 11 =2. I was well into numerology at one time.

I am haunted by one particular time once a day from a house number I used to live at where something happened that I still feel bad about…I happen to look at the clock at this time about once a week…have since before I was sick some twenty four years ago.

Is there a pattern there? Like you’d see on an iq test? Just wanna make sure I’m not looking for something that’s not there.

Nice to know I’m not the only one for who this is an ongoing thing. The 25 thing I think happened when I was 19 so like 13 years ago.

There’s no pattern.

(9) + 99 = 9

I love numbers

Edit

It’s the cross sum @Aimingatremission

A funny thing about numbers long ago at the age of tapedecks :

Very, very often when I looked at the counter there were 3 of 3 the same numbers, I felt a little bit locked to that machine lol

Edit

Digital counter

I do that all the time @firemonkey . I mean I collapse any number into a single digit by adding them. After many years I realised it is calculating the modulo base 9 of a number

I didn’t even notice your username, sorry. I wouldn’t change your name. You’re still aiming to be well one day right? I think it sounds good. You never know maybe one of these new drugs will do the trick. I couldn’t imagine suffering for that long, you ever thought about trying some new meds?

Numbers might have a significance, but in reality it’s just a coincidence. That’s really all it is.

7 days of a week,
12 months of the year,
365 days a year
, your age is a number,
the time is numbers too,
numbers have some power

Consolidation of coincidence sometimes.

Happens.
