The 80s wasn’t all that bad a decade, even in terms of music. In recent years, I haven’t been much for any kind of nostalgia, but both yesterday and today I remember how happy I was as a young boy for much of that decade. Yeah, I mean, one could argue that it was so optimistic it was manic. But, this late afternoon, I made a playlist called “Take Me Back to the 80s”. It’s been a long time since I’ve pondered the power of nostalgia, so I hope it’s going to be a source of healing for me!

All but one of my amateur broadcasting friends run a station heavily into 80s music.

That’s when I grew up – in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s, so I’m all about the radio stations that play music from any of those decades! Or being reminded of the movies that came out then!
