I got a bit of health anxiety also, but much less than before. I think just going for checkups at the doctor if needed, and then get it out of your mind and live life is the key. We have to live life, we can’t spend our time thinking about what could happen all the time. :slight_smile: The only control we have is to get checked by a doctor if we feel something is off, or doing regular general checkups, and also eating good and exercising if you can, other than that, try not to worry, (maybe easier said than done, but it’s something that can be trained)

It’s because I’m struggling with my periods of course it could be menopause but the Dr says can’t be

You have to excuse me cause I didn’t know the context of the first post, thinking it was more of a general health anxiety thing. Good luck with your doctor. Can’t say I know anything about this, so can’t really have much input.

Wouldn’t menopause be dependant on age range, or certain meds?

Yes I heard about perimenopause but the doc don’t think it starts at my age. I am 40.

All the women in my family went through the menopause in their 30s. Rare but it can totally happen.

Hope you get to the bottom of it soon ish

Many issues can cause a change in your periods. I was in Perimenopause in my 30s. I also had fibroids and severe advanced endometriosis.

They ruled out the fibroids and endometriosis through scans and an ultrasound.. however I’ve never had a smear and the doc said I won’t be seen by a gynacologist without this so at some point when the bleeding stops I’ll have to get it done.

I don’t know if I have irregular periods. Sometimes my periods come because of stress
