I’m staying at my sisters which is very country, there’s a lot of noise outside my window. ALOT of gun fire which is triggering my paranoia. I’m okay right now but don’t think I’ll be sleeping tonight.
Anybody up willing to chat to get my mind off things?

I can imagine it’s making it hard for you to sleep. I have trouble sleeping all the time.
I have PTSD and it has to do with gun fire so I’m trying to distract my mind but it’s getting a little difficult

Guns scare me. Ive never even held a gun. I guess I’m just not used to them, I dunno.
Maybe I’m afraid of the idea of having a gun is cause I’ve had problems with SI. Even if I just heard gunfire, it would probably be scary for me.

No worries it’s cool, and I’ve held a gun before, I grew up in a hardcore neighborhood and had a tough encounter with it to many times that has been traumatic so it has left me paranoid
It’s 4am and now I can’t tell the difference between real gun fire or if it’s just in my head
Maybe they’ll stop at some point and you will be able to get some rest. Wish you the best.
