There’s been a significant increase in gun violence in my city (Believe it or not, Canada isnt a perfect country. We have our bad areas too) and it has me paranoid. Some of the shootings are random too, happening to innocent people.
I need to stop following the local news. Thats where I find out about all the shootings. It has me scared to go outside when its dark.
Anyone else get paranoid about violence happening to them?
absolutely, and its so overwhelming. i cant watch the news anymore unless its weather
Yeah, I confronted my neighbor and he went apeshi*. Cussed me out and threatened me. It was a total overreaction, I was polite and had just asked him to let me alone. He denied everything. I’ve seen him a few times after that. I don’t think he has a gun but he is six-four and weighs over 350 lbs. So I’m a little cautious.
I get worried about gun violence in my area and state.
i’m not particularly scared of the gun violence but non the less i don’t like going out cause i’m scared of everything too…
lots of gun owners here, but shootings are rare. although we had 2 murders nearby last year, both were physical altercations that ended with gunshots. and there is a gun range just down the road and all the neighbors shoot guns when the weather is nice. i hate the noise of hearing gun shots personally, one of the biggest things i don’t like about this location.
anyways parts of the city make me nervous, there is a shooting in the city everyday.
