I have Type 2 Diabetes and for a couple of weeks now or more, my blood glucose levels have been under 100 - 95 and 98 today - after I eat a meal, not fasting!
These are normal non Diabetic numbers - It is really strange because lately I have been eating high carb foods like pasta and pork n beans with franks.
Yesterday I did not walk, but usually I have been walking everyday for at least an hour if not more!
Exercising - Walking everyday is probably lowering my blood glucose levels down to normal levels!
I do take 2000 mg Metformin everyday for my Diabetes - but the walking is the key to normal levels - I’m sure of this!
Yeah; this is big. Because balanced BS levels are almost always a huge help to getting up out of both the emotional toilet and jumping out of the emotional rocket ship.
I walk too. Where I live some of the people have diabetes. It’s almost impossible to get them to watch their diets. I think some of them live with blood glucose levels of 200 or more. Congratulations on your blood glucose levels!
I think that the weight loss helped, but exercise, walking made the biggest impact on lowering blood glucose levels - even half an hour of walking everyday can make a big difference.
My cousin who also has Diabetes told me that walking can make a huge difference, I never believed him until now!
Best of luck to you @pob
