Just tested my blood sugar levels a couple of hours I ate and during me enjoying a black cup of coffee with sugar.
My blood glucose level was 98.
This is a normal level.
I do think that I’m suffering from prediabetes, insulin resistance due to the meds.
I may ask my doctor to lower my Metformin dose a bit.
My blood sugar levels have been running normal or near normal for a while now.

Good idea, also check that it doesn’t go too low.

My blood sugar levels were on the low side weeks ago.
I had to load up on carbs/sugar to raise them.

My primary care doctor said if I lost some more weight he would take me off the diabetes medication. My blood sugar dropped after I switched from Zyprexa to Abilify, and I have been losing weight. My A1C went down to 5.9.

6.2 is pre diabetes certainly not diabetes.
6.5 and over is diabetes.

That’s great news! Have you lost weight? Sometimes that corrects it.

A little bit of weight loss yes.
This could be it.
Or maybe it’s the reduction of my AP

Oh yeah. Reducing your AP could definitely have done it.

But honestly my numbers were under control even at the higher doses so maybe it’s the weight loss really.
