should i be worried about liver damage from consuming 300-400% of the daily value of niacin (b3) everyday. i drink a ton of water and i hear b vitamins are water soluble and any extra are peed out, but i also read taking over 3000 mg daily can be dangerous, 400% of rda is only 80 mg, but at the same time ive read about cases of liver damage from much less than 3000 mg so im confused
You’re probably OK as long as you’re not taking the slow release version. The slow release version is what can cause liver damage.
do you know if niacin in energy drinks is slow release
It’s definitely not.
