I know this is debunked as monotherapy, but as a add on to the AP it really calms down disturbing thoughts. I have much better healthy flow in my thoughts if that makes sense, and my mind is much more at peace.
I take 500mg daily which is a large dose, but not a megadose. It’s reported to possibly damadge the liver at doses from 3000mg and up, so you don’t want to overdo it, but this is worth trying for many I would think. 500mg is the max recommended dose from the supplement industry.
Not to be confused with Niacin, which is another form of vitamin B3. I used to take this form before, but it has a unpleasant side effect where the whole body flushes for a couple of hours. This form is also more toxic for the liver with possible damadge to liver from 1500mg and up. I think the niacinamide actually works better for me anyways.
If you try it you should take a B vitamin multi also as a Minimum since all the B vitamins are synergistic and depend on each other.
