New video of what hearing voices is like

You are clever! We all are. Even those that are low functioning are clever. Dont let the low functioning label fool you. Like the normies we have our talents. We are just not high functioning in the way the work world would perfer us to be.

My dad, now gone, is a perfect example of that. He was sz, but what one call the subtype of disorganized. He was totally illiterate. Growing up a farmboy in the 1930s &'40s in rural farm did not help his learning to read. But he did learn to work on the equipment and old timey tractors.

By the time I came along, much later I life, he had developed amazing talent and knowlege.
He could and did fix anything: toasters, blenders, sewing machines, cars, trucks, mowers, vacuum cleaners…name it and he could fix.

He would start by simply looking it over to see how it was put together. He could not read or wriite, so he drew what it looked like before disassembling it, and sometimes more drawings as he went along.

He would break things down to tiny odd bits of parts, pieces of metal, screws, nuts and bolts. Most people would have become confused and just thrown away. Once he found the problem he would get some else to get the piece to be replaced. He was able to put the thing back together.

However, he could not even be sent to the grocery story for a can of tuna. He would come back with a can of cat food.:yum::blush: lol

I HATE my voices.
Gladly I have less intrusive thoughts and voices on olanzapine.

hey!!Hello and good morning!

Glad to hear the voices are less for you. You seem better these last couple of days. @Chess24

@macy today is a very bad day.
Yesterday was so so.
I have a certain flu/cold(or several ones) that severely impact my situation.

I hope you feel better soon. cold/flu is very tough to deal with.

Short list of things that nature made, but was a bad idea:

snot
ants
ice(but not snow)
posion ivy &oak
sticker burs

Most of the time I hear two distinct voices coming from behind me, and they mainly talk to each other about me, about what I’m doing, what I’m thinking, and about the other people around me, what they are doing, what they are going to do to me, what they are saying and thinking about me. Many times what they say is absurd, and often funny enough to cause me to laugh, which draws unwanted stares from other people near me. Sometimes I hear footsteps as if someone is walking up behind and is going to make me trip and fall. Sometimes I hear the buzzing, humming, crackling, and fizzing noise coming off electrical power lines. No one else seems to hear it.

@Wesley “footsteps”

The worst kind of hallucination ever for me, glad they were not frequent. Those couple of times I heard them on the roof…

There are no words to describe the meeting of the viciousness of a raccoon frighted in the dark with the viciousness of a woman protecting her kid from “burglers”.

There was no contact as i had a long range weapon to keep it at bay. It gave me no chance to back down after it saw me running towards it swinging. I did drive it away though. Woke up all the nieghbors. lol

I would have left it be if i had known i was hearing the thumping-scurrying(for real), and that the footsteps were a hallucination.

This is quite a realistic audio simulation. What I would add is that the video fails to convey the FEAR associated with these voices. It literally crawls down your spine.

I listened without headphones, so, I could hardly hear the video. My voices are like that too. Mumbling, and sounds like coming from another room.
