This be a NSFW repeat, but here’s a shout-out to @rogueone to start things off right.
Good luck getting this one out of your brain
Any bronies out there?
For some reason this reminded me that I need to brush my dog. I will play this lovely song while I do that.
Hey @Moonbeam: Yeeyee!
That’s 4 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.
My neighbours play it at least once every weekend at full volume, that’s how I learned about the song.
Your neighbors have divine taste in music.
And dogs (scary pitbull that I’ve maced a couple of times when it tries to push through the fence). And trucks (jacked up Dodge with extra loud muffler). Really, all they’re missing is a trailer and a tornado.
I all but switched off from new music c 1987-1988. Since then I’ve liked the odd song but not any group or solo artist enough for their name to stick in my head . I never could get into the hip hop/rap stuff .
I heard a song from zedd called “happy now” and from the title it should be a positive song but I find it depressing next I heard awolnation - kill your heroes… they sing “no need to worry cause everybody will die” that to is a “happy” song but it put this worrying thought in my head.
Then i found this article
i agree todays music has no meaning behind it. it promotes self hate drugs and promiscuity
ha lol yea music back in the day had more meaning to it then it does now. i guess youi xan say it was balanced.now its hard to find anything without drugs sex. there are some but its a dying breed
I just recently started going to open mic nights at local cafes and bars. I don’t drink alcohol but am surprised at how much better sound systems are then when I was much younger. Some young acoustic songwriters are actually really quite good and its a more immersive experience seeing live music.
