New neighbours

Hopefully they don’t harass me when I move in. At least I have my partner to help me know if they really are.

Anyways. I hate socialising. Not interested in getting to know anyone when I move. I just want to keep myself to myself.

I’m buying a property in spring. I just can’t decide about a townhouse or single family.

I’m not sure how to approach the neighbor thing either. I started talking to a guy at the gym lmrecently, but then things got weird and now I go to work out at a different time so I avoid him.

I figure you’ll have to introduce yourself or it will become weird…

I think things got weird with that guy at the gym because we never knew each others name… I’m really not sure…

Actually I should get a book on maintaining Platonic relationships. I know they make them…

I’m 70 years old. The downstairs young man has a two year old child.

I spoke to my neighbor today. I saw him outside and approached him. I wanted to know if I could use him to shovel me out in snow storms, and he was very encouraging that of course he would be shoveling for me.

:relaxed:

When i first moved in here 6 years ago - i made a point of introducing myself to everyone in the block - and if there were any problems, that they are welcome to knock my door.

Apart from one woman that hated me - but has since passed away, i get on very well with all my nieghbours. I usually take in parcels for a couple of them here that are working when they get deliverys - so that always earns me brownie points lol.

That was nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m glad you get on with your neighbours. I also take in parcels for people here where I currently am cause I’m usually home and they are working.
