Neighbour issues

Most of mine are complete buttholes!

A lot of them treat me weird, or say “Hi” in a completely snotty and mean tone of voice. They try to get me in trouble with management.

Earlier this woman asked what my shirt was all about. So I explained to her that it was a band shirt. Moments later I see said woman talking to mgmt about our conversation. Like WTH?!

I know I’ve done some stupid stuff in the past when I was on alcohol, but will I ever be forgiven?

Sorry, rant over.

I am sure it will be okay. Just ignore people and do not take it personal. If they know better, they do better

People just talk about pwople, it gives them a sense of being above them and more important.

I’ve never understood it. I dont even like knowing secret things about other people.

I’m the same. People’s business is just that, their business.

I tell people things about other people in hopes it will generate empathy for them. That does not make me weak!

Ya know, I’m the same way. But the thing is the more you tell and the more you talk the more people expect you to entertain them.

No Sir. I think the quote is referring to gossiping. Like when people spread harmful rumors or try to slander other people.

Generating empathy is cool in my book. :v:

That’s never happened to me.

The neighbour to our west is AWESOME. The neighbour to the east… She’s an alkie. So is her husband. She likes to scream. A LOT. At him and her four kids. She can scream for HOURS. We have reported them to Child Services because of the horrible verbal abuse and names we hear her calling preteens. They visit every so often, but she hasn’t been screaming any less. Probably more, actually.

We’re trying to get our finances in order to sell this home and move across town to the wealthier section where there is less trash.

I’m sorry that you’re having issues with your neighbors @Montezuma.
I am lucky to have really nice neighbors on both sides of where I live.

Mgmt at my old place let a drug addict move in next to me he yelled hoe at me all the time. He was ■■■■■■■ the neighborhood alcoholic slit on the other side that always had bums and crackheads on her porch. Needless to say im glad I moved.

One thing I like about where I live now - no real neighbors.

That must be nice  Do you live in a more rural area?

Yes/no. I live in a very small town (around a 1,000 people) in an apartment behind my husband’s insurance agency, with the back of our apartment facing Lake Superior. There are a smattering of businesses around us but they’re all low traffic and are only open typical office hours.
