NAMI doesn't share personal feel-good stories on Facebook

like they do from the CF Foundation
and
Special Olympics.
sz is still an anonymous condition.
mostly what I see from NAMI is wanting donations.
there may be a picture of actual people,
but no stories.

People are still scared of sz/sza. The only mental health conditions I see people on social media talk about are depression and anxiety.

maybe, but you haven’t seen me on there then!

I talk about it all the time, but I talk about a lot of things.
some days I just never shut up. ha.

It’s good to talk about it I feel, so I’m glad you do. Makes it more human. People still think people with sz are dangerous. Media doesn’t help that

I’ve been hearing on my NPR I listen to every morning,
they are now saying about that,
He had mental health concerns,
and not, He had mental illness.
makes me feel better,
I’ve been fighting them for years over that.
