I was asked by a nurse what my voices’ names were and I told her that only one of them had a name aand she said that was odd. Am I supposed to have names for all my voices?
When I did CBT, my therapist told me to name my companion/angel voice. “He” is the dominant presence and has had a lot of power over me. I gave it a lot of thought and came up with a name that means cancer… I found that giving “him” a name gave me power that I didn’t have before. It changed my relationship.
I don’t have a name for all my voices, just the main one - his name is Alien.
I named one pain and one sha because it’s a monster in world of Warcraft sha of anger, she gets angry at me
Most of my voices are actually my family members being tortured. They have names. Other than that, I have an angry couple who always fight and a news anchor who broadcasts stories about my day. None of those guys have names.

all five of the main voices have names. devon, aaron, Rebecca, beliel and phillip. I didn’t name them they told me that their names were.
Two of My voices, Jerek and Michelle, told me their names. I have never made up names on my voices. I demanded to know Jerek’s name because I saw him and could talk to him. So he told me.
The other voices have no names.
The only names I have are… One for a demon named Azazel who wants to steal my soul (like Jerek, I can sometimes see him and occasionally I FEEL him physically) and the other name is Jack.
I can feel the presence. He walks behind me.
I have that too. The same way you can tell someone is looking at you from across the room, it’s that feeling only scary.
My voices are nameless but sometimes I think I hear celebrities’ voices but not sure. I think I hear Bart Simpson’s voice, and President Obama threatening me.
My main voice is called Asha. I found this out because they told me “that’s my name” when the song Brimful of Asha was playing once. My other voices don’t have individual names but collectively I call them the Shitty Committee.

My voices have names, all of them. I think I changed the name of one of them 3 times, the main one’s best friend. Also one of the voices “died”…I don’t hear him anymore. I also gave my voices alternate names but then dropped those names.
I don’t have any names. I might go ahead and give them names since it seems to help Hedgehog.
